These percentiles represent the minimum marks required to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025. Only candidates who also rank in the top 2.5 lakh overall (across all categories) can register for JEE Advanced.

You can register for JEE Advanced 2025 on the official portal.
JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee on May 26, 2025.
The result is expected to be declared on June 2, 2025.
After results, JoSAA counselling begins for admissions into IITs.

JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2024 Seat Matrix
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the official seat matrix for JEE 2024. This single document provides complete details of institute-wise, branch-wise, and category-wise seat availability across all
IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Ans. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2025 cutoff along with the exam results. The results for Session 2 are expected to be declared by April 17, 2025.
Ans. Based on previous trends, the expected JEE Main 2025 cutoff for the General category is anticipated to be between 91 and 95 percentile. However, the actual cutoff may vary depending on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, and seat availability.β
Ans. Based on the trends of the last few years, the expected JEE Main 2025 cutoff for OBC applicants is going to be around 77 to 80 percentile. However, the exact cutoff may change depending on factors like the difficulty of the exam and the number of students who took the exam.β
Ans. Applicants can check the JEE Main 2025 cutoff on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The cutoff will be released along with the final results and will indicate the minimum percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025.β
JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The students should go through the JEE Main eligibility criteria for 2025 properly to avoid rejection in later stages. Aspirants should satisfy all the terms and conditions that are mentioned in JEE Main eligibility criteria for 2025. There are some points that are to be taken into consideration before registering for the exam:
Age limit: There is no age limit for the candidate in the case of JEE Main exam. Though, IITs can set age criteria for admissions.
Qualifying Exam: For JEE Main age is not the criteria, the applicant should have qualified class 12 or any equivalent examination such as the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy exam, senior secondary school examination, Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination, a two-year Pre-University exam, Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination, a diploma recognized by the AICTE or a State board, General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level, High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
Year: Candidates who have passed their class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023 and 2024 or those who are appearing for the same in the year 2025 are eligible for JEE Main 2025.
Number of Attempts: Students aspiring to appear for JEE Main can give three attempts in consecutive years.
Subjects Pursued in the Qualifying Exam: It is mandatory for the aspirant to pass the qualifying exam with a minimum of 5 subjects. The set of 5 subjects includes Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject, and any other subject.

JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 and 3 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years:
The candidate requires 50% marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry and an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exams. All the students appearing for B. Arch B.Planning courses should have Mathematics as their compulsory subject.
JEE Main 2025 Reservation Criteria
The National Testing Agency follows the reservation criterion that is laid by the government of India for granting admissions to the candidate.
